Infrastructure built for a production environment

Dust, temperature swings, long distances and steel structures — an industrial site cannot simply take an office-grade solution. We design for these conditions.

  • Industrial-grade equipment
  • Perimeter video coverage
  • Vehicle and cargo logging
  • Access control in production zones

What shapes the solution

On production and warehouse sites infrastructure operates in different conditions: long distances between buildings, steel structures that block signal, dust and temperature ranges that shorten the life of ordinary equipment.

So we specify equipment with the appropriate protection rating, use fibre backbones between buildings, and plan Wi-Fi coverage around the actual racking layout.

On the security side what matters is the perimeter, entrances, loading bays and vehicle logging — often addressed with video analytics.

Priorities

Environmental resilience

Equipment specified for dust, moisture and temperature.

Covering large sites

Fibre backbones and outdoor access points between buildings.

Perimeter control

Fence line, entrances and loading zones with analytics.

Vehicle logging

Licence plate recognition integrated with barriers.

Solutions

Industrial network

Fibre backbones, protected enclosures, PoE power to outdoor devices.

Perimeter video

Line-crossing detection, night mode and object classification.

Access and vehicles

Turnstiles for staff, barriers and licence plate recognition.

Monitoring

Environmental monitoring of the server room and nodes, with fault alerts.

Typical projects

A new production building

Cabling, network, video and access control in one project, aligned with the construction programme.

Warehouse Wi-Fi

Coverage between racking for reliable operation of handheld terminals and scanners.

Automating entrances

Licence plate recognition, barriers and a vehicle movement log.

Questions

What people ask us most often

How do you link buildings that are far apart?
The primary option is a fibre backbone — it covers distance and resists electromagnetic interference. Where cabling is impossible we consider directional wireless bridges.
Are ordinary cameras suitable for a production zone?
Usually not. Housings with the appropriate protection rating are required, and in dusty or cold zones additional heating and protection. This is determined at design stage.
