How we choose technology

Our approach is technology neutrality: we are under no obligation to propose a particular brand. That lets us fit the solution to the real requirement of the site rather than the other way round.

We give preference to systems built on open standards — ONVIF in video, OSDP in access control, KNX and Matter in automation. That reduces the risk of finding yourself dependent on a single supplier when the system needs to grow.

Listed below are technologies, protocols and platforms we work with or ensure compatibility with. Vendor names are given only to describe the ecosystem and do not indicate official partnership, distribution or authorisation.

How the systems fit together

A building’s technology stack divides into four layers. The bottom one is the physical foundation, the top one is unified control. Each layer rests on the one below it: weak cabling undermines even the smartest scenario.

The technologies listed on this site describe the ecosystems we work with. If a specific project requires authorised supply or a vendor warranty, we clarify that in advance and state it openly.
Can you integrate with an existing system?
In most cases yes, provided the existing equipment supports open protocols. We begin with an audit: which interfaces the system offers and what limitations exist.
Why do you favour open standards?
A closed system limits your options: when it comes time to expand, you have to go back to the same supplier at their prices. Open standards reduce that dependence and extend the system’s useful life.
