What shapes the solution
A medical facility runs several very different systems at once: clinical equipment, the information system, administrative workstations, patient and visitor Wi-Fi, and security systems. They all share one infrastructure, and separating them is essential.
The second factor is continuity. Operating theatres, intensive care, laboratories and the server room cannot lose power or connectivity. Redundancy is therefore designed in from the start, at both power and network routing level.
The third is patient space. Video coverage is planned to cover common and critical areas without intruding into wards and treatment rooms.
